Our Story
Built for the Career Changer
Diversity, Beauty and Barber Academy was built for the career changer — the person who knows they're meant for something more, but hasn't found the right path yet. We opened our doors in Columbia, SC with a mission to make professional beauty education accessible, rigorous, and genuinely life-changing.
Over the years, we've trained hundreds of students who came to us from all kinds of backgrounds — office workers, parents returning to the workforce, veterans, and recent graduates. What they all had in common was drive. We gave them the skills.
Today, our graduates are working in salons and barbershops across South Carolina, running their own businesses, and building the careers they always imagined. That's what Diversity Academy is about.
